Being RINA member of World Steel Association (Worldsteel), on the last 29 and 30 April in Newcastle, Filippo Cirilli had the possibility to attend for the first time the Technology Committee.

The Technology Committee (TECO) is the global technical committee responsible for driving innovation, setting digital standards, and accelerating the global steel industry's green transition. The committee brings together researchers, engineers, and experts from leading steel producers, representing approximately 85% of global steel production.

In the very proactive and fair atmosphere of the Committee Cirilli had the possibility to describe the Rina solutions to support steelmaking decarbonization; among them a particular emphasis has been put on our HYDRA project: a real pilot steel factory, equipped with DRP tower and pilot EAF realized in our premises in Castel Romano and currently under commissioning.
