Innovative Hydrogen-Based Pre-Reduction Process

Flexible Reactor Testing: Achieve consistent productivity and quality with various methane/hydrogen mixtures in a Direct Reduction pilot Plant.

Flexible-feeding Pre-Reduction Technology: Develop versatile pre-reduction methods, essential for both transitional phases and future flexibility in the steel industry. Load hot pre-reduced materials directly into the electric melting furnace to minimize energy consumption or utilize briquetted DRI (HBI) as an alternative.

​​

Scaling up from pilot to production: Construct a significant-sized plant, quickly scalable to industrial levels, capable of producing pre-reduced materials for industrial furnaces. This facility will enable the study of hydrogen-based pre-reduction management under near-industrial conditions.
