KEY - Italian Exhibition Group

Hydra won the Lorenzo Cagnoni Innovation Award! Our project, which is building a hydrogen-fuelled pilot plant for steelmaking, has been recognized for its dedication to developing innovative solutions that support a low-carbon economy. Our very own Filippo Cirilli received the award, on behalf of the whole Hydra team, at KEY - Italian Exhibition Group (March 7-9, 2025). Visit us at stand 325, Hall B3, to discuss how we can assist you in accelerating your energy transition and achieving carbon neutrality.

This recognition celebrates initiatives that have long been dedicated to developing innovative products and offering cutting-edge services, contributing to the transition towards a circular and sustainable economy both in Italy and globally.

The HYDRA project received the award for its pioneering solutions that support a low-carbon economy, particularly its significant advancements in hydrogen-based technologies for steel production. This achievement underscores its potential to drive meaningful achivements in the steel sector’s sustainability efforts.

By participating in the Key Energy Rimini Fair, one of Italy’s foremost events focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable industry solutions, RINA aimed to engage with a key platform for discussing the future of energy and innovation across multiple sectors. The participation showcased HYDRA’s progress in hydrogen transition and its commitment to the decarbonisation of the steel industry, while also providing valuable networking opportunities with industry professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders working towards a sustainable and carbon-neutral future.
